Aircurve 10 VAuto settings question
I have been looking at my historical data lately and noticed I had better settings last year using what the software calls "BiPAP-S" mode versus what it called "BiLevel-S" mode.
Does anyone have any idea how I switch back to BiPAP-S? I know how to get into the menus but I can't find the settings for this, other than the "S" setting which is already on. I noticed a LOT more CAs in my current mode.
Thanks

S mode is BiPAP-S. It will either be VAuto or S.

Thanks, but my question is how to get my settings back to BiPAP-S mode. I somehow set it accidentally to BiLevel-S mode. I probably wasn't clear enough with my question and it was confusing.
See the screenshot above my initial post. It is from the bottom of the Statistics tab in the current OSCAR. The far right shows the 2 modes. I am on BiLevel-S and want to set it back to BiPAP-s mode. I have no idea what I did to get BiLevel-S on there, and I went through every menu item twice in the clinician menu as well as the regular user menu.
Any idea what I did? Those modes appear to come from OSCAR, as they aren't mentioned in the manuals of the Aircurve.
RE: Aircurve 10 VAuto settings question
They are both the exact same, but were recorded with different OSCAR versions. The term "BiPAP" is a registered trademark by Philips. In order to be correct for all brands that offer this type of therapy, the name was changed. I don't know if rebuilding your data will correct this. You could try purging all your data, then reimport it with the newer version of OSCAR.

RE: Aircurve 10 VAuto settings question
I somewhat suspected this (which is why I said the latest version of OSCAR). I had been having a hard time getting my wifi flash card to connect back to my wifi for a while and when I changed my wifi channel on my mesh it reconnected finally. That's when I noticed the difference in "modes".
Thanks for confirming it for me. Now once I get another job and get insurance again I'll have to go in and have them reevaluate me. My CAs are going up (not a leak - I fixed that). I've had dozens per night with some lately up to 30 seconds each. It is better than my 1st sleep study years ago where I stopped breathing once for just over a minute, but it is going back up.
RE: Aircurve 10 VAuto settings question
Not sure if you've tried this, but the VAuto machine has the Trigger setting, which can be set to High or Very High. Reason to do so is to change trigger to inhale sensitivity, a step to avoid some Central Apnea.

Yep, using Vauto mode and setting my trigger to very high helped enormously in reducing CAs.
