RE: Sorry to start new thread but need nap
Welcome back. Thank you for the update. Here is a link for OSCAR. Plenty of reading here to do.
Great job taking control of the management of your own therapy and advocating for yourself. Obviously, you put a lot of effort into it and now you are reaping the results.
Posting some OSCAR's may help figure out if you are having airway collapse or NM weakness.

RE: Sorry to start new thread but need nap
Hey Jay good to see you! I recall you were using a similar device to mine?
Anyway I'm getting much better sleep with my ST-A. So much I've recovered from most of my brain fog and was able to become an administrator of an MG site as their PAP guru which is something I'm constantly trying to work on. For our condition the IVAPS is the only modality that correctly treats us. So I'm about to post a thread asking for help skipping on educating sleep doctors on what devices we need.

RE: Sorry to start new thread but need nap
I have AVAPS (Philips Trilogy Evo). It is very similar to your ST (A) IVAPS in that it assures every breath will be at least "x" tidal volume (500 for example is mine). The regular ST is kind of similar if you set the PS (IPAP) high enough, but square wave flow shapes make it hard to tolerate (it very quickly raises PS; then very quickly lowers PS - kind of like riding on a roller coaster with each breath). EasyBreath might be considered kind of an opposite of this in helping make more rounded tops to waves and more comfortable breathing.
The Astral and Stellar are ventilators with IVAPS also I believe.
Good for you doing all of that research and work on your therapy (for MG). I am sorry that you had to do so much on your own to further your cause.
