Am I recycling air ?

Am I recycling air ?
I have been using a F&P Simplus and Vitera for years and have my Airsense 10 sat on my bedside table.

I have only just realised that the violent? mask exhaust from the Vitera is getting close to the inlet filter of the AS10

I wonder if this has a caused a problem at least its been turbocharging the humidifier

I have been thinking about a change of mask so that may be sooner than later

I've used both Simplus and Vitera, and just recently the Evora full, with no issues. So seemed to be a reasonable exhale from the vent.

My ASV would Max at IPAP 25 and was about 2 feet away. This recycling air thing isn't an issue like you think it is. If it were, there's going to be others on Apnea Board legitimately discussing this.

Is this recycled breathing an issue without CPAP? No. It's also not an issue with CPAP. Think about it, your exhaled air only travels a short distance without CPAP. No issues present.

You're overanalyzing this is my take. You claim the vent action to be violent, so you're already setting yourself up to find the negatives, actual or perceived.
