I've recently got used resmed 10 and have been fiddling with the settings trying to get my AHI down.
I've tried CPAP mode at level 8, APAP mode from 10-14, EPR on, at level 3, 2, 1, EPR off. Different levels of humidity and temperature, tried setting the humidity/temp to auto.
Currently using large P10 nose pillows
In the past it seemed like if I didn't have the pressure high enough, when I exhale, all that CO2 just goes back down the tube and I end up rebreathing it.
Last night was the first night that I could wear it the entire night without waking up and throwing it off my face from feelings of suffocation.
Any ideas to how to lower my AHI and fix my clear airway issues?
*Notice* - in the attached picture, ignore the data to the left, I was at my desk fiddling with settings and wasn't actually asleep. I went to bed at 3am last night.
Hi StromboliCPAP! -
If you first go to File > Preferences > Clinical and set the option to "Permissive Mode", you will be able to deselect the "play" session prior to the 3AM data. Just scroll down on the Daily screen's left side to display the different sessions for that day. This will cause the data's reported values to adjust as well. Also, please review some of the links in my signature to get a better understanding of OSCAR.
