Another thread for low-AHI bragging
Newbies may add to this thread to indulge in all that childish bragging about their low AHIs.
Mine this morning: 1.0 over 8 hours and 42 minutes! Yay, hooray, and all that.
Not a bad way to start the day.
(That's the estimate reported by the machine, and I don't even care if it's inaccurate. I'll take it anyway. Close enough for gubmint work.)
Edited to add: Oh yeah, the implied message here to other newbies who are having trouble and who have AHIs that are
not low is: Persevere! Hang in there! You'll get yours down into the green zone sooner or later.

I had 0.7 last night, and that's my average over the 4+ months I have been in therapy. Nice to see some consistency.
Glad to see your own therapy is coming apace.

Well done you 'newbies'.
Moral of the tale is, the sooner you join the forum, the better. i've read of members reading before buying machine and then just jumping in and succeeding. Clearly the way to go.
But for those of us who took it slowly............we still get there in the end, so hang on everyone.

WhooHoo!!! That's awesome Fats!
I agree with Apnea Infant, the sooner you get here and fill that head-achy, head in a bubble feeling, foggy, forgetful brain with the much needed knowledge, The sooner you start getting some relief.
39 days in I reached an AHI of 0.0 (zero!).
I don't 'expect' that to happen every night, but as long as it's consistently close, I'm happy with it.

Well, night before last my AHI went over 1 for the first time since I got out of recovery from surgery in February. It had been increasing over the previous few nights, so I was wondering if it was a trend. But then last night I got a zero again.

Just an anecdotal follow-up, also for the possible benefit (moral support) of newbies who still have any doubts about this stuff: I was short of sleep two nights ago, only for operational reasons: had to stay up late and then had a very early appointment in the AM and was forced by that to get up at an unreasonable hour, argh (drag self out of bed). Yesterday afternoon, napped for a couple of hours, as expected. Went to bed early yesterday evening, put on the mask, conked out ... and slept for ten hours with an AHI over that time of 0.6! Woke up feeling not only completely refreshed, but amazed that I had been able to sleep for so long, which hadn't happened in years. What a relief.
Yow!! Am I having FUN yet?? (As Zippy used to say.)
This stuff really works!
To me (having had various other medical problems over the years), two other great points about it are that it involves no drugs and it's non-invasive.
