Any of you find that you get night sweats if you don't use your CPAP machine?
I stopped using mine because I wanted to measure my oxygen level without it, to see how effective the CPAP is.
The first night, my o2 level stayed above 90% and fluctuated between 92 and 96%.
The second night, my numbers were the same except I had two instances where it dipped in the upper 80s.
I woke up with night sweats on both nights. I hadn't done that since I had the flu a few months back.
Could sleep apnea cause night sweats? I plan to go back to CPAP tonight to see if I wake up with any night sweats.

I started a thread myself on the very same topic.
I had them long before I started CPAP Therapy and I still have them, just not as often.

It's possible that untreated apnea (no Cpap use) could cause night sweats. I've never experienced that before Cpap use.

Ah, okay. I seem to have them from time to time but it seems random....except when I had the flu a few months back and had night sweats then for about a week, then didn't have them again until a couple nights ago. Could have been just a coincidence. I'll go back to CPAP tonight and see if it happens again.

Did some googling and yeah it does seem like a symptom.
I went to my ENT the other day who noticed that my lymph nodes under my chin were swelled. That combined with night sweats had me concerned. I was diagnosed me with a sinus infection and they put me in antibiotics so maybe that will help. Will go back to CPAP tonight and see how it goes. There are so many variables involved with not only CPAP but sinus issues that it's difficult to pin things down.

I think some of my issues have to do with AFIB, which I am currently addressing.

I get them with or without the cpap. I had assumed they were hormone-related, but I've been seeing a lot of info here in the last couple of days about possible connection to sleep apnea, so I'm now not entirely sure which is the cause.

I also can say I was getting night sweats pretty reliably before, I never associated it with my cpap until the other day but I can't recall it happening to me since I started using it.
