Somnologist
Somnology is the scientific study of sleep. It includes clinical study and treatment of sleep disorders and irregularities.
Sleep medicine is a subset of somnology http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Somnology

Mine is a Pulmonologist who is also certified in sleep medicine. The sleep lab is "accredited by the American Academy of Sleep Medicine."
