Battery power for CPAP?
#11
RE: Battery power for CPAP?
I go camping and have taken my full rig (with humidifier and heated tube) to weekend and week-long camping trips. I have a standard 12V 35 Ah deep-cycle marine battery (made by Hawker Industries). I made my own power cord from a older laptop computer power brick's end and some alligator clips.

On my week-long camping trip, I was sleeping 9+ hours a night and charged it after 4 days and only then because I did not want to wake up with a dead unit. I have even used my rig in below-freezing weather on two trips with no problems. My battery was purchased years ago and it normally powers my trolling motor on my little jon-boat.Grin I use a standard battery charger from Sears to juice it up in case of camping trips, bad weather at home, etc....
