RE: Bipap analysis
CPAPGee, the clustering of events suggest you are experiencing positional apnea and obstruction, also, your settings result in fixed pressure. As a first step to address the OA, increase IPAP max to at least 16.0 and up to 18.0, which will allow your Vauto to adjust pressure upward as needed for obstruction. You should also read the Positional Apnea article https://www.apneaboard.com/wiki/index.ph...onal_Apnea

RE: Bipap analysis
For now, leave the lower pressure the same. What we are doing is giving the device an opportunity to respond to flow limitation to raise pressure as needed to prevent the OA events. If that doesn't resolve the problem, or if you need fixed pressure, then we can move to increase EPAP min.

Please take a look at your user CP and update your profile to show your current equipment. https://www.apneaboard.com/forums/usercp.php

RE: Bipap analysis
thanks, will update my profile
Whats confusing me is previous nights on the fix pressure were ok and i was feeling relatively the same but tiny little bit better than when i was allowing vauto to increase the pressure automatically.
is this common where few days are fine on one modality and others then are not.

RE: Bipap analysis
Another option is to simply repeat with the same pressure and verify whether this was a one-off or something you need to address with a change. Some people do well with auto pressure and others don't tolerate it. You have to setup according to your needs.
