RE: Blocked nose using CPAP.
The Vicks didn't really work that well for me the second night.
I might try your oil idea, but I will put eucalyptus oil on the cotton ball - seeing as that is what I have on hand.
If I keep the room temperature up a little by leaving the reverse cycle aircon turned on to take the chill off the air in the room it seems to reduce the clogging a bit, but my Mrs. doesn't like the heater being on. [this from a woman who came from a tropical country and loves high humidity and very warm temperatures ]
If I can find a way to breathe at night without causing annoyance to the wife it would be a bonus.
We already spend five nights a week in separate rooms, the heater will help me, but ensure we sleep in separate rooms seven nights a week... I'm seriously thinking of becoming single, CPAP has really ruined our personal relationship by being the 'final nail in the coffin' of a marriage that was already struggling.
