Breas Z2 - mask question/air noise
This is just a slightly different take on a question that was asked a while back. I purchased a Z2 hoping to use it on an extended international trip this spring.... but it's just so noisy that I know I would not be able to get any sleep which obviously defeats the purpose. It does seem to me, though, that my mask is the issue. For many years I've used Fisher & Paykel Zest/Zest Q ... all the noise seems to be air noise coming from the elbow where the mask connects to the tubing. It''s totally quiet when used with my Dreamstation but super noisy with the travel machine. Has anyone found that there are masks that work better with this machine in terms of noise? I hate the idea of trying to get used to a new mask but if it means I could travel without the full-size machine it might be worth it. I did extensive trouble shooting with the manufacturer, none of which helped, and they say any mask should be fine, but this one is not fine at all. Thanks for any advice you might have.
