Agreed. There's Positional Apnea patterns involved. ASV Auto gets an EPAP range of 2 setting to move between. EPAP 5-10 like Jay mentioned is a start.

I have been using the ASV device manually for a long time. Although I sometimes get very good data, as shown below, there are occasions when a high number of hypopneas occur. Because of this, I switched the device to automatic mode. However, hypopneas continued to appear in the data.
There are three graphs below:

1. The first graph shows excellent results, with the AHI values remaining low.
   
2. However, on some nights, as seen in the second graph, there are significant hypopneas, and the AHI values are very high.
   
3. In the third graph, I switched the device to automatic mode, hoping this would lower the AHI values, but I obtained very poor results.
   

At this point, I am unsure how to adjust the device settings. I would greatly appreciate your guidance.

It looks like chart 3 has Min EPAP at 5 versus 4 for the other 2. I would try Min EPAP between 5 and 6, whichever is comfortable, and note the results.
