[CPAP] Declining Effectiveness / Interpreting OSCAR
#11
RE: Declining Effectiveness / Interpreting OSCAR
The clusters of OA like at 01:50 are from chin-tucking. Leaks are a problem if they are disrupting your sleep, and they seem to be present through the night. Your therapy looks excellent other than those issues. Rather than taping, I think it helps to use an aid to help keep the jaw closed. A cervical collar that supports the back of the jaw might be helpful. I emphasize the back of the jaw rather than the chin because that is where a lot of airway control can happen. It's similar to laying on your side and pulling a corner of the pillow over your shoulder under the jaw. You will see this keeps the airway in an optimal position and helps resist leaks.
