CPAP Mode vs. AutoSet Mode.
What's the difference between the two on my 10 AutoSet? It's always been in the CPAP Mode.  Eat-popcorn

RE: CPAP Mode vs. AutoSet Mode.
I have been only on CPAP mode myself since 2018 until late summer this year. I can't share expert summaries, but I feel that a tight window centered around your fixed CPAP pressure can be enlightening.  I have only used the ResMes Airsense 11 for this experiment. I have found that the algorithm is mostly about comfort. Hit the higher pressures as needed and then slink down to comfortable pressures. Sometimes too low, so I then would up my minimum pressure. Experts here guided me away from my missteps fortunately. I added the helpful tools like the soft cervical collar, mouth tape and lastly a chin strap construction that doesn't pull my jaw back as much as many do.
You probably wanted a more concise reply.
 Good luck.

RE: CPAP Mode vs. AutoSet Mode.
The auto set increases your pressure when your flow limit increases and decreases it when it is reduced. Of course, the devil is in the details of the governing algorithm's responsiveness,   time delay,  and decay time of the increased pressure step.

The idea was that you do not need a specialist to have an optimum setting. Moreover, the setting fits the treatment to your condition, which can change daily or even hourly.
