[CPAP] Need help getting started with my 3rd machine. (Resmed Lumis 150 VPAP ST)

Need help getting started with my 3rd machine. (Resmed Lumis 150 VPAP ST)
Diagnosis: OSA @ 6.25 AHI in lab study (previously mixed / CSA + OSA @ 25 AHI)

Comorbidities: Heart Failure

Machine: Resmed Lumis 150 VPAP ST with O2 concentrator

Rationale for using this machine for OSA:
1. I have trouble exhaling with a CPAP
+2. I get flare ups where my heart pushes fluid into lungs. O2 sats drops to as low as 38% when sleeping during these flare ups.
=3. A bipap would be easier to exhale with, and ST mode combined with O2 concentrator will keep cardiac damage due to hypoxia to a minimum.

Settings provided by sleep lab: IPAP 12 / EPAP 6. "to use backup rate" mentioned without specific value.

I'm no stranger to manually configuring my CPAP but this being my first resmed seems completely foreign to me with all the settings not on my previous philips. also on the philips, bpm, rise time, etc could all be set to auto but not on the resmed. there also doesn't appear to be a bi flex option. the 'ti' values seem too important to leave to chance.

can someone shed enough light on the settings to get me started with this machine?

Resmed has a "getting started" video and manual. I believe you can get both at resmed's web site.

i doubt that resmed's getting started manual provides instructions for the clinician's setup menu.
