Vauto PRESSURES

RE: CPAP PRESSURES
On your next chart please put flow limits where you now have mask pressure.  Generally, we only need to see the first page and flow limits should be there. Also, if you can make your left panel just a little wider we will be able to read important information below.

You will definitely do better with the Vauto.  It's a wonderful machine.  My husband and I love ours.

Best of luck with improving your therapy and comfort! Smile

RE: CPAP PRESSURES
The VAuto can be run with about 9 or 10 EPAP, might be even lower depending on the chart results. IPAP up to 16 or so. PS 3 or 4. I would not change default Ti. for now. Unless there's a CA issue, Trigger and Cycle Medium. If there's some CA then Trigger High can be tried.

RE: CPAP PRESSURES
Shouldn’t the epap for bipap be close to median epap in the provided pic above?

I'm not a good one to suggest bilevel settings. Although I use one someone else helped me set the machine. I'll PM the fellow who advivsed me. Hopefully he will come along with his usual excellent advice.

Dial the settings in to maximize both comfort and therapy effectiveness. It may not always be equal from the CPAP based AutoSet to the bilevel VAuto.

RE: Vauto PRESSURES
I modified the title of this thread from CPAP Pressures to Vauto Pressures to reflect the device being used. Your charts are getting better, but still missing a lot of data. Be sure to minimize the monthly calendar and adjust the left column to eliminate the text wrap so more information shows up. The tutorial Organize Your Oscar Charts is linked in my signature.

Looking at the data posted so far, your increase in EPAP min pressure from 10 to 11 seems to have eliminated most of the OA events and reduced overall AHI. Let's try a night at EPAP min 11.0, Max pressure 18.0, PS 4.0 and see if that clears up more of the flow limits. Looking for feedback on comfort as well as efficacy.
