Hello, were you able to clean the motor effectively? and is the motor within a closed system or do you think this mold can travel through the hose? I have aspergg. in my nose for some reason major sinus issues. Thank you.

It was easy to disassemble the unit, but I did not find any visible mold in the motor. Note - cleaning all available parts (not electronics!) with hydrogen peroxide and/or ec3 is probably your best bet.

I don't think motor assembly can be disassembled further.

If you are dealing with mold sensitivity/toxicity, I strongly recommend finding a mold literate functional medicine doctor.
