Also keep in mind that even with the humidifier off, as long as there is water in the tank, and it is hooked up you will get pass over humidification which is what happens when the air pushed through the cpap runs over the standing water. It is still picking up the water inside the chamber and then running it out in humidity in the air. The reason you may have water in the hose is because once the heat is off inside the chamber the condensation could be turning into rainout which is what they call water in the hose. The heated line with the other setup will cure all that.
