Trial or rental or return allowed of Resmed Mini or Transcend Micro?
I would like to try the Resmed Mini and/or Transcend Micro to see if the noise levels are too much for me. Have read the forum posts on noise from air inhalation and attempts to mitigate. Traveling for a month at a time means carrying along my Resmed 10 Airsense Autoset is not optimal, both for volume and weight considerations given my mode of travel.
Would like to know if any board members have had success in finding a supplier who does rent or offer a return policy, or some other way of allowing a trial. I don't mind paying at all, just would like to try a device at a cost somewhat less than outright total purchase price of the device with no possibility of return.

Here's what I've found so far:
Resmed itself offers a 30 day trial - but does not ship to Florida and a couple of other states.
Supplier number 42 advertises a 30 day trial but says on website that machines must be returned unopened and unused!!
Supplier number 26 offer 15 day trial, appears genuine but I've run out of time before a trip. Will check more closely in July 2024.
My reading of rules about referring to suppliers is that posters are not to provide direct web links to them but can refer to them by name. It is clearly allowed to refer to a number on the supplier list but Resmed is not on the list and individual members cannot add to the list, requires action by apneaboard Advisory Members Group.

Supplier 3 in the home Sleep Test Listhas a 60 day store credit policy, with some exceptions (so batteries are excluded, among others). I don’t know what you’d do with several hundred dollars in store credit, though.
(And how do I ask that they also be listed in the CPAP supplier list, since there are already some other vendors listed in both lists?)

I'm not a supplier or anything, but I have an Air mini you could borrow. I won't be using it until my next cruise in December. If this will help you PM for shipping arrangement.
