What brand and model machine?
Are you saying you have misplaced the AC adapter and voltage converter? Any replacement converter must use the same voltage and amperage output as OEM, and if it is a Resmed machine, only an OEM cord will work because of the proprietary design that uses a voltage signal on the center pin that identifies the adapter as Resmed.

My old Resmed S7 used a typical computer cord since the "brick" part of the cord was inside the machine (which is why it was so freakin' big). That made it handy for the time I left it behind one business trip!

As for any other, you are most likely going to need the manufacturer's cord and not a computer cord. Sorry.
