The suggestion for the Hose Buddy and hose wrap came to me from a member here.
I think "wellness" and sleep quality come from little things...and perseverance.

ps For others. My F&P Evora Full is working really well for me now. Until I brag about it, and then things just don't work...

I'm just a cpap user like you. I don't give medical advice. Seek the advice of a physician before seeking treatment for medical conditions including sleep apnea.
I have been using my ResMed10 for over a year, and mostly any apneas are Centrals. I have had a few bad nights recently, and am wondering if it is because I am sleeping more on my back due to having leg and hip issues which is causing me to sleep on my back. I always wondered if sleeping on my back caused more centrals for some reason. Maybe my diaphragm does something when I am on my back or my throat shape causing an issue. I have been reading more on the Wiki and learning more and trying to decipher my flow rates which looks like there is an issue with my breathing. I had a followup visit recently and discussed still having some sleepiness during the day. I recently had a overnight oximetry done and they would like to do an in lab sleep study because it said pattern is suggestive of residual sleep disordered breathing which now has led me to try to find some type of clues to my breathing and central apneas at night. Looking for any advice or similar experiences with possibly a positional issue or palatal prolapse causing this and any success stories that helped you.
It would be helpful if you posted the whole night machine use rather than just the few minutes you have shown. Also, could you post a redacted copy of your sleep study? That would help us figure out some other things that might help.
What you posted is most likely caused by your leg and hip issues and you being 'uncomfortable". Your breathing is disturbed (uncomfortable) and you are likely fidgeting to find a better position and holding your breath resulting in a Clear Airway event and not a central apnea.

RE: Flow rate clues to Central Apneas ?
Hi, the sleep study I have scheduled, the other ones I have had were before CPAP therapy. I had zoomed in on the flow rate to better show what is happening, I have attached the full night one as well. I do move around alot in my sleep switching side to side and on my back because of discomfort. Seeing an orthopedic tomorrow, so hopefully will have some answers and hopefully some relief soon. So maybe that is what is causing some of these.
Your Flow Limits are high and most of your events are central.
Your Zoomed image in your orig post says those are likely a result of arousal. Are most of your CA's similar when zoomed in on?
A VAuto has a setting called Trigger which makes initiating a new breath easier, with less signal. IF those centrals are real centrals, I have doubts, then getting a BiLevel VAuto MAY (not will) resolve most of them.
But with High Flow Limitations a higher PS (difference between inhale and exhale pressure), will help that but MAY result in higher if your Centrals are CO2 driven, which is common but I don't see that in your zoomed view.
The best course forward depends on the cause of your CA events.

I am attaching another, it does mostly look the same. not quite sure what was going on around 5:49:50. Do you know if an in lab sleep study would be able to tell what is causing the clear airways and if they are truly central or not ? Thank you
All CA's at night suggestions on getting a ASV prescribed
After a year and a half using the RESMED 10, I am still getting anywhere from 15-48 CA's a night. Because my AHI was 5 and below for the night, my prescribing Doctor felt it was a success. I have since moved and have seen a new Doctor because still I was still concerned with CA's and not getting the sleep I feel I should be. She has prescribed an in lab sleep study but it still is a ways off because of booking way out. I would really like to just move on to an ASV machine at this point, just feel if I have to wait until sleep study and follow up appt. I may be looking at several months maybe more till that can happen. Has anyone had any luck getting a ASV prescribed after having results similar to mine ? Beginning to feel it is time. Just can't purchase on my one without insurance helping.
