My personal DME interaction has diminished to them calling every so often to gave me verify supply re-orders, so insurance would pay for them that is. That's it.
I forgot to mention something, Dave.
The old DME had a robot to call every month that would remind me to place an order if I needed anything. The number provided by the robot was wrong for the automated supply reordering. And when I got the right number, the automation failed because I wouldn't receive the order.
Total C R A P.
I've worked out with Patient Aids that I will just mark a day on the ole calendar, and call on that day (let's say the 10th day) tell them to send me my stuff and they will do it. No robots and recordings. Patient Aids does have a robot but they welcome human human interface.
