RE: Chart Envy
Thanks for the kind words, a little extra advice if you don't mind ?
As I posted my update above my insurance company finally approved the purchase of an ASV so a spanking new Aircurve 10 ASV is winging its way from supplier number 2 as we speak so I can use the current one as a 'traveller'
The question / problem is I'm assuming I will now have to 'train' the new one into how I breath / what treatment I need etc which could result in a few uncomfortable nights - is there any way for instance by swapping SD cards for it to speed up its learning or am I just going to have to suck it up....or suck it up then blow it out so to speak ?

RE: Chart Envy
Crap, another question this time Oscar related - it stopped capturing my IPAP pressures around a month ago for no apparent reason / without me changing anything - any idea why or how to fix it ?

RE: Chart Envy
you're about to answer one of asv users' most common uncertainty: has the machine whipped me into breathing with it or has it adapted to me? my money is on us adapting to the machine in which case you should have no problems with a new but same make and model at the same settings.
re ipap pressure, no ipap stats appear in oscar for me with the same asv as you. it's an oscar bug/glitch. one of the reasons I use SH 1.0.0 beta 2 broken gl as well as oscar.

Cheers Sheepless - will report back in a week or so, will be interesting to test your hypothesis !

RE: Chart Envy
Sorry I cant comment on Oscar not capturing the pressure stats correctly as I do not have an Aircurve 10.
But as far as I know the Resmed ASV does not learn from you you learn from it. Just ensure the settings are identical between the two machines and sleep with it, I have and regularly use two machines as I work away 4 days a fortnight and have an identical machine there I never have an issue moving from one to another.

RE: Chart Envy
Hey all,
Thought I should check in and say hi, ASV continues to go great and my highest AHI over 4 months has been 0.9, feeling much better and seem to be able to tolerate timezone changes better as well. I've also been able to use a Releaf collar over the last couple of months. I seem to have trained myself out of chin tucking, I'll give it another couple of months and then try without anything.
Just lurking this days.........
