RE: Why so many large leaks?
Your leaks look like mouth leaks (as opposed to mask leaks). Sharp spikes are mask leaks. A longer, larger and more consistent leak (the opposite of a spike) indicates a mouth leak.
Some use the technique of touching the tongue to the roof of the mouth and learning to hold it there indefinitely to stop leaks. Anyone who has more tips for a nasal pillows mask can post also. Here are some tips: Mask Primer

RE: Why so many large leaks?
I found that I need to use 2-inch wide tape cut to about 5-1/2 inches long. Narrower or shorter and I still get leaks. Maybe you are having the same issue. You also need to use a good tape. I used a wimpy one at first and had loads of leaks. Lots of folks like Cover Roll Stretch tape or Hypafix. These both work well. I like Theraband kinesiology tape because I find it more comfortable, so I use it even though it is more expensive.
Good luck!

Will reassess in a week or two. |
