Condensation after adding a support
Hello,
I've got and Airsense 10.
My settings are 29 celcius for temperature and 6 for huminity.
I added a support and now the tube of the mask that is not covered generated quite a bit of condensation i had water going up my nose last night.
So i was thinking to bring it down to 5. But i may find it a little dry. Any other suggestion?
Also i was wondering if my 29 celcius is a good temperature?
Thank you
RE: Condensation after adding a support
I think the easiest solution is to leave the part of the tube closest to the machine uncovered and pull the cover over the mask tube. This keeps the softer fleece closer to your face where it will cover the most vulnerable part of the tubing because it is unheated. I use the snuggle skins fleece cover from Amazon which is long enough to cover the main tube and mask tube.
RE: Condensation after adding a support
When I first started using it I kept getting condensation to the face but moving it lower to the floor fixed that, but the tubes still have water in them, it just doesn't reach the mask.
RE: Condensation after adding a support
It's important that the tube rise from the machine the support to facilitate draining condensation back to the humidifier. As I said, shift the position of the fleece cover, or reduce your humidity setting to 4 or 5.

I'll try that. Thx a lot!
