Full face masks and telephone answering?

Full face masks and telephone answering?
I use a full face mask...  It is not unusual for me to need to answer the phone before I would otherwise get up....  I have found that I can't have meaningful communication while wearing my mask as the person on the other end can't hear what I say...
This leaves me w/ two choices that I've found...
1. Pull the mask off which triggers the automatic shut-off on the CPAP, and puts me back at starting w low pressure and ramp, etc. if I put the mask on and try to go back to sleep after the call....
2. Slide the mask down over my chin, which gives me big time large leaks, but doesn't quite trigger the auto-stop, and lets me pull the mask back on w/o restarting from scratch, but sort of screws up my OSCAR numbers for the night, as it makes a big jump in the % Large leak time.
If it's a call that I need to talk on, it isn't a big deal to let the machine shut off and start over when I'm done, but it's annoying if it's a junk call, or for my GF....
Is there a solution other than the two I mentioned?

I dunno, I'm mostly too asleep to answer the phone. I could just leave the full face mask on and answer... mmmfph mmm fffpppjph ... click. Maybe I don't have friends that call when I'm asleep or maybe I don't have friends.

Oh yes, I'd probably hit the power button. Coffee

Most of us, not all, do not use a ramp. Basicly you are not receiving therapy while on a ramp. Turn it off, if that doesn't work, try a combination of increasing ramp pressure and minimizing ramp time.

Everyone I / we know, knows not to call me / us early in the morning. If I do get a call early on, my answering machine picks it up.
