Dewberry Therapy Thread: Autoset 11 to Aircurve 10 ASV
#31
RE: 3 weeks in and struggling
Thank you for the information, I will do some reading and watching.
I stayed on my left side till about 0230, then went to my right side.
Somewhere along the way, I ended up on my back for a while then back to the right side.
I get to the point where I am too tired to care and just try to get some sleep.
CA and CSR numbers are still getting higher.
I am supposed to be seeing a new sleep technologist in the next few days, and see what they have to say.
Thanks again for your wisdom and your time.

RE: 3 weeks in and struggling
I changed sleep clinics and had a technician go over my history with me.
She asked if she could change my settings,  as an experiment to get a better idea of what is happening.
I agreed, had nothing to lose, results are really surprising.
I think I found a technician who actually knows what they are doing and thinks outside the box.
I showed her Oscar, and I was surprised at the interest shown, indicating she was going to download it.
She said the more information she has, the easier it is for her to get the settings right.
Mine were definitely wrong and said I would probably end up with a BiPAP machine.
Time will tell.  I just want to get a good night's sleep and feel human again.
I am tired of being tired.

Excellent. Something and someone new and fresh.
She could be the key, and seems to be interested and motivated. A good move on your part.

Interesting to see where it goes.

Thank for the update, and fingers crossed!

Best wishes

Oh, I forgot one more thing, when you start making some headway, can you post to the form how you are getting on?

This will help enrich the forum's knowledge base and there could also greatly help  members out there who have similar unresolved problems.

Thanks a lot.

RE: 3 weeks in and struggling
Here are some updated shots since the changes to a fixed pressure.
My numbers are down but I am still exhausted every morning, feel like I barely slept.
I am wondering if I should be concerned about the number of CSR and CA events.
I bumped my pressure up to 18 to see what would happen, took 3 hours, and changed it down to 14.
Any help is greatly appreciated. I am really beginning to wonder if I am using the right unit
for what I have.

Good to come back past this thread and see you have made some decent progress.

I did say to give it time and to do small changes individually rather than all at once.  Bigwink

Great to see that with knowledge from the forum, and now having a switched on clinician on your side, you are on the right path.

Actually, the change came from switching from APAP -CPAP to the ASV machine.
It made a dramatic difference.  The change in clinicians helped too.

Interesting thread, what machine did you go for in the end?
