Suspected UARS. Can someone help interpret oscar data.
Hi Everyone,
I took a watchpat sleep test about a year ago that suggested I had sleep apnea due to an AHI of .3 and a pRDI of 12. Due to these results it seemed to fit within the UARS description, as well as the symptoms I was facing. I tried the cpap for a few nights but did not feel much different and struggled with the mask so I gave up on it. I decided to try again, and slept with the CPAP last night and recorded my data into OSCAR. Could someone take a look and see if it looks like its working, pressure suggestions, etc?
Even with the CPAP, I still tossed and turned a lot, woke up to use the bathroom 2-3 times, and woke up feeling unrefreshed and crappy like I normally do. I also tried the mask on for a few minutes when I first received it later in the afternoon so that is why there is such a large gap at the beginning of the data. Would appreciate any advice anyone has for me and I very much appreciate your time!

Well, that sure wasn’t a restful night!
I’ll bet someone will be along shortly to help with settings. After that, pay attention to body position (i.e. positional apnea), and mask issues.
Don’t worry about a UARS label for now; just focus on the sleep and making it better. Labels later.

Hi lplayer24
When I see pressure moving that much in a chart I typically suggest that you try cpap mode for a few nights, constant pressure can alleviate some of these issues (arousals and microarousals)-you can use cpap without setting it to cpap mode and keep FL data with the autoset 10 by setting the min and max pressure to the same number. So for now please set min pressure to 12.6cm and max pressure to 12.6cm. Keep EPR on 3 though but if the support seems too deep set it to 2 after a session.
