Okay, Guys...
I had a few bad days trying new nasal masks, as my old one isn't made anymore. Eventanda got sores on the bridge of my nose from one. Can't they get S, M and L all standardized?
Well, I went back to my old mask and got a good nights sleep. Here're the stats...
See those huge chunks of time where your leak rate is elevated above the baseline? Those are signs of mouth-leaking. Try a chin strap, soft cervical collar, or full face mask.
I went for years with leak rate graphs that looked like that. When I finally switched to a full face mask they went away, but more importantly, I starting feeling a lot better during the day. Those leaks can disrupt your therapy because the CPAP machine can't maintain the air splint needed to keep your airway open. And even if they don't, they can still disrupt your sleep.

if I may ask, how does one (how would I) identify mouth leaks vs mask leaks without looking at the flow rate? I'm struggling with it myself.
I've seen it said that spikes in the leak rate are mask leaks & flat tops are mouth leaks but I don't understand that because as far as I know the x-axis is time or duration & mask leaks can be long & short just like mouth leaks. ?
