Does a Large Leak Cause An AHI Error?

Does a Large Leak Cause An AHI Error?
Last night had a big increase in large leak % (not sure why but I think my cushion is wearing out). Anyway, I was wondering if the leak is big enough, could that cause the machine to not be able to measure AHI accurately because of the leak? My AHI was 0.59, but I want to rule  out that it could be a "false positive."

RE: Does a Large Leak Cause An AHI Error?
IF you have a large leak that shows up as gray, that period of time there will be no events scored because the event will not register.  Events are ones that the air meets resistance and if you have a large leak there is not enough resistance to the pressure to record an event (O or H, flow limits)

You may want to share a nights OSCAR charts and get some feedback.

Thanks for the reply - that confirms mu suspicion. Screenshot of last night attached. I looked back and typically my Large Leak % is well below 3 and usually between 1-2, and often below 1%. So I suspect I had a mask malfunction last night and that may have impacted my AHI (although being under 1% AHI happens reasonably often too).

Leak stats attached too.

FWIW - for Resmed, anything 24 l/min and above the machine may not be able to reliably or accurately detect events.
