DreamWear nasal mask - how often to change pillow?

DreamWear nasal mask - how often to change pillow?
I am a new Dreamwear nasal mask user, and was issued a starter pack with a few nasal pillows.

I changed the pillow twice, so far, and the last one I put on seems to not perform as well, over time.

Does one change them by "feel"?

What is your change routine?

Spouse DME, following Medicare rules, I assume, just sent new headgear, new tubing, six new pillows, as part of the first auto 3-month resupply... Rolleyes

Someone is playing the Medicare billing game, methinks.
Not surprising, the owner has an MBA, and sure got into the business out of his good heart. Yeah.

Medicare covers 2 pillows per month. When I was using a Dreamwear I found they lasted about one per month--I wash mine every day if that makes any difference.

I receive 2 per month through Kaiser DME (Apria), and I wear mine as long as I can, which sometimes is a month. For me, after a month, the nasal pillow doesn't have a good enough seal . . .

I find I don't get as good of a seal after about 30 days.

Mine lasted nearly a year before the side connector came out.
