EncorePro password problem
Greetings apnea fans,
I have gotten myself into corner here, I am sort of stuck. I have a Respronics Dream Station, and was using EncorePro 2.17.8, then I updated to Windows 10 and now I can’t log in. I enter EncoreAdmin for the user name and then it tells me I have entered the wrong password. Because I neglected to record the password I used, I tried the variants that I use, and now it reports that I am locked out.
It seems the only recourse I have is to uninstall the program, remove all the related code in the registry, and reinstall. I tried uninstalling, and reinstalling, but that didn’t work.
I am very reluctant to screw around in the registry, because I don’t know what I am doing, I think that is beyond my capability.
Any suggestions, on how to get EncorePro back to a new install condition, or any other things to try?
I installed EncoreBasic, then discovered it doesn’t support the Dream Station.
I guess I could try Sleepy Head, but I already know how to use EncorePro.
Thanks,
~Ed
