Encouraging Data

Encouraging Data
It has been a while since I wore my CheckmeMax O2 ring or looked at OSCAR data in detail.  I look at machine summary info still.  I tried to step back some from the constant analyzing.

I still have plenty of health issues and am very fatigued many days.  I still am on the 3L of supplemental O2 at night.  I wish I could say better sleep stats = better health, but I truly can't.  It can't hurt though.  I didn't need to add more issues to the long list I already have.

As you can see, things have changed pretty dramatically from before, especially with the O2 stats.  I seriously have to credit it ALL to Knightsbridge Dual Chin Strap.  This is not a paid advertisement, but it is mainly appreciation for a single product that not one of many sleep doctors I had ever mentioned. It changed my sleep results, leak rates and therefore better SPO2 numbers because of the leak reduction.  More sleep specialists need to seriously look at this product for those with jaw drop.  It is sickening how many years that went by that I suffered simply because of an unawareness of a 'better product' out there.  The docs were all but happy to tell me whatever and if a chin strap was recommended, just go with the sheer crap ones any DME suggested.

I hope someone else can benefit from this route if they have the same issue!

Can't use chinstraps because they make my head too warm, those charts are not what we need to see, can you please go into the daily tab and hit f12 and upload that screenshot?

Why do you think the Knightsbridge Dual Chin Strap is better? Because it's more effective at keeping your jaw from dropping? I'd consider it if it the cap part is cushy -- I wear a beanie at night to make headgear less painful.

Yes without a doubt more effective at stopping jaw drop and more ergonomic.  I was getting leak rates up to 100 L/min a year ago.  That says a lot in my opinion.  I wear the air version of the chinstrap with the ear cutouts. It's not perfect, but way more effective than all others I've tried.   I didn't care as much about pure comfort as eliminating a major issue.  I had no choice but to address the jaw drop.  Therapy is useless with 100 L / min leaks!
