Been having troubles with air leaks from the nose bridge area. Mask wants to slip down my nose, allowing air to escape around the top. Seems to happen when under pressure, breaking the seal in this area. I may be having a restless sleep as I sleep on both sides during the night, causing the mask to be pulled down a bit when I roll over. I would like to stay with this type of mask as I do tend to be a mouth breather. I am waiting for a cervical collar to arrive and hopefully this may cure my neck tucking as well. Have attached last nights report. Thank you.

AirFit F30i Full Face Mask

I had similar problems in regard to the mask, and I have had great success with the ResMed F40. It is made almost entirely of soft plastic, so sleeping on your side is less likely to disrupt it. I've also installed a hook on my wall to hang the tube from and that has prevented me from yanking it by accident during the night. Of course, make sure the mask is snug around your nose. Best of luck!

Best of luck! Thanks for your input. CPAP Australia has not got this mask yet as it is still quite new. ( Probably want to use up their old stock first), but I see they are on Ebay for $179.00 Aust. I,m a bit weary using a hook up for the tube though. Do you have any problems with moisture in your mask? I will give this option some thought as I was tossing up trying a Phillips one which is similar.

F30i and nose bridge don't quite add up, as the F30i doesn't go on the bridge of your nose...
Supposing you mean the interface to the bottom of your nose, try adjusting the upper straps differently. You may want to get the whole top of the frame to settle further back on your head. Other likely option is that the part on your face is not the right one of the 4-5 sizes they make for that part.

Have you tired an AirFit F30 yet? I use one and it performs great for me. I was using an AirFit F20 for quite a while, then tried the F30 and never looked back.

I meant to quote air is leaking from bottom of nose. I have to wake up and push the mask up a bit to reseal. Dave has suggested trying the F30, which has the hose attached to the mouth piece instead of on top of the head. I will ask Cpap Direct if I can try a demo mask first before purchasing one. I was hanging out for the new F40, but seems a lot of secrecy around this one as to when it will be available. Thanks for your insights. I am using a small frame with a medium mask on my F30i, as the first frame was a large one and was loose on my noggin, allowing the frame to float about. Will try readjusting again before giving up on this one.

Thanks Dave, I will try your suggestion, hopefully with a demo F40 first and see how that goes. Do you get tangled up at all with the hose coming into the mouth piece? I do find having it on top with the F30i allows me to change sides or sleep on my back, as I can get a bit restless during the night.Mind you, this activity probably pulls the mask around a bit, hence the leaks.
