Xmas is coming and I want to improve my sleep by getting an O2 monitor/ring.
Can anyone recommend one first of all?
Ideally would be importable into OSCAR as well.
Thanks for any help - oh I'm in the UK

RE: Recommend an O2 monitor device
I think the Wellue and Contec brands will import data to OSCAR. I had a Contec that worked. I can't recall the exact model.

RE: Recommend an O2 monitor device
I use a Wellue o2 ring and it's pretty good.

RE: Recommend an O2 monitor device
Do you want one that works 24x7 or just during sleep? How much accuracy do you want? How often do you want it to sample? Medical grade or consumer grade?
You have to decide how you will use it and purchase accordingly. If you want OSCAR compatibility that is defined in the OSCAR wiki.

RE: Recommend an O2 monitor device
While many here use and like the O2Ring, I'm from the era that still remembers console TVs. If the TV, radio, or its record player broke, all you had was a big piece of furniture. I feel the same way about the ring. If its sensor goes bad, all you have is a big ring. I prefer the idea of the SleepU or CheckMe because you can replace the most delicate component, the sensor probe.
But that's just me. What do I know, I'm just the village idiot. - Red
