[Equipment] ResMed AirSense 11 compatible pulse oximeters
RE: ResMed AirSense 11 compatible pulse oximeters
It does not. However I believe there may be a way to connect to PC or another app to get the data, but neither may be free. I haven’t looked into it myself.

RE: ResMed AirSense 11 compatible pulse oximeters
Following up again. I was able to connect my Nonin 3150 to the NoninConnect iOS app to monitor blood oxygen and pulse rate. The app is very clunky, but I was able to connect to the device via Bluetooth. Since the Nonin had previously been connected to Resmend, I had to pull the battery from the 3150 so it could forget that pairing. In the app once connected, a timer starts counting down in the bottom right corner which signifies its tracking. The non-intuitive part is that there is another screen you can swipe to the left and see line charts of the session. I was glad to figure this out so I won't have to buy another device to track outside of Resmed.

Thanks. I will test when I receive the meter and report back

I just got a Nonin WristOx2 3150 BLE Pulse Oximeter. For those of you who have got one of these, was your wrist strap waaaaaaay too long?

it appears that way, but if you install it as directed it works. Mine has 1" or so in excess. I fold the excess on the middle and then fold the it backwards and the velco attaches to the band. If all this sounds like nonsense I can post a pic :-)

I have paired mine with Resmed and it seems to work. When I removed the battery and tried to pair with noninConnect, it shows up, but fails to pair. Does this continue to work for you? Can you pair with both Resmed and NoninConnect at the same time? Finally can you set the time of the 3150 and set the measuring frequency 1 sec to via NoninConnect? I am trying to avoid paying $300 for nVision to do those two things

Please don't spend $300 for nVision, buy a device from Amazon or SleepHQ before doing that.

I was having issues with noninConnect and it would fail to pair also, so I don't believe you can pair with both at the same time. Make sure to close or delete the connection on your Resmed device.

Try this: remove connection via Resmed machine, remove battery from 3150, close noninConnect on phone. Replace battery, and open noninConnect and try again. Chances are, if you haven't deleted the connection on Resmed it's picking it up immediately and locking out noninConnect.

I believe noninConnect is every second or every two seconds already. I haven't looked too long for a better means of viewing the data, but pulling the csv data into Google sheets and drawing a chart allowed me to see the lowpoints. Sheets wasn't near as nice to see the data as OSCAR is, but if you find something better, please let us know.

You are spot on. The ResMed is in the room right above me and likely picked up the connection. Out of the box the 3150 does not do 1 sec interval according to the manual, so it has to be set by software. Same goes for time. I am trying to do 2 things: 1) I want easy access to SP2 data together with CPAP data, so thats why the Omimeter is conencted to ResMed. 2) I want to mesure any doffrence in sleep with and without CPAP. this is where I need to download data outside the use of CPAM (and have 1 sek intervals). I have urdered a USB cable to see if I can extract the data that way. I still need to find a way to set the interval and time

noninConnect is already doing 1 second captures by default. I personally haven't found SpO2 to swing that rapidly to where you would miss the dips even between one or two seconds.

Also, noninConnect allows emailing of the data in csv format so that you can chart it after the session is done. The image below shows the data from the 3150, so its providing all the data you are looking for. The reason I used noninConnect was for the exact reason you are looking for, to see my data while not using CPAP.

I am  not willing to give up the ease of use of capturing the oximeter data together with CPAP data, but still want to compare oxygen levels with and without CPAP intervention. I ended up buying the USB cable and play around with it. with some heavy Github inspiration and my great friend ChatGPT i wrote a quick python script to set the time on the device and create an excel with the recorded data. Still working on PAI %, but not too concerned about that atm. Next step is grab the CPAP files and find a good way to compare SpO2 with and without CPAP support.
