Sleep Tracking Ring
Anyone knows a good not ridiculously priced ( only sleep tracking function ) ring that's tracks spo2, AHI/RDI, HRV? I have the Wellue which tracks all except the HRV, and the Sleepon have not good reviews for Android 13 and up. If anyone has info on one available let me know please. Thanks

I didn't think there was any kind of oximeter that also tracked sleep apnea events.

I have the Wellue Checkme and love it. It only gives me the SpO2 readings. I can "assume" that the drops indicate a sleep apnea event but it can also indicate a poor fitting or even my hand in the wrong position. For example, I sleep with a body pillow and my Checkme is on my right hand. If I sleep on my left and the right hand is hanging off the pillow, the device detects low readings.

I see it counts RDI with the sleep as Android App, but I'm looking for another ring that can also track heart rate and HRV. The sleepon tracks spo2, heart rate, pulse, HRV, and 1 more thing but that's it. The app is limited, the sleep as Android app is way more detailed.

RE: Sleep Tracking Ring
The Welleu Checkme O2 Max does track SpO2 and Pulse as well as motion. Within OSCAR you can set a value in File>Preferences>Oximetry, for pulse change and SpO2 drops.  So Oscar will flag the PC (Pulse Change) and SD (SpO2 Drops) based upon the input provided by the operator.

"O2 Insight Pro" is the Welleu PC software that interprets and provides display/printout of the information. As we now have 4 ea Checkme O2 Max in the house I have noticed that one Checkme O2 Max that we purchased from the "Wearpulse store" on Amazon has a slightly different format of O2 Insight Pro, than those purchased from the "Welleu Store" on Amazon. But the O2 Insight Pro does report SpO2 drops over 3% and over 4%, although it does graph both Pulse and SpO2, as well as flag motion and alarm events it does not report on pulse change or heart rate variability.

Welleu's app "ViHealth" does integrate with Apple Health but I am unsure how it is utilized, as I also wear an Apple SE watch which does record heart rate and reports HRV in the Apple Health.

However for a truly accurate HRV you need an EKG, even my Kardia  says information should be backed up by an EKG.

The best review IMHO of any health monitoring device is by "The Quantified Scientist"  he reviews several different devices from many manufactures for accuracy and function.

I hope this helps guide you in your quest for information.

U-U-U-h-h--h UnicornRider . . . the oximetry setting parameters in OSCAR were never implemented.  In fact, starting in version 1.5.0 there is a disclaimer at the top, "Oximetry Settings - Not Currently Functional.".   This option is a holdover from the SleepyHead code.  .  .  . One of these days!

Sorry for the confusion!

Red,   Thanks for the heads-up, upon further review, it does have that disclaimer, plain as day. How anyone could miss that I do not know. But I can confirm they do miss that notice.

I take it that on the OSCAR Daily view the Events Flag area when you hold over the PC heading and the fly out references a User Defined variable for a sudden change in pulse rate or over SD in reference to SpO2 Drop. those are actually predefined such as a pulse change of 5 for a duration of time displayed when you hover over the flags on the graph? Then SpO2 Drop would display a time duration for say a 4% SpO2 Drop ?

Thanks in advance.

RE: Sleep Tracking Ring
The Go2sleep tracks HRV and it's backed up by some studies, thing is the app is limited and when used with Sleep as Android App it doesn't monitor or send sleep parameters over ( Rem, , deep, light sleep, etc ) ?
