Full Face Mask with Beard
Has anyone with a beard had experience with a full face mask?

RE: Full Face Mask with Beard
A number of us have beards and use FFMs. I keep my beard fairly short. The problem isn't the beard so much as the regular issue of finding a mask you like that works for you. Mirage Quattro, Quattro Air, and the F10 is what I rotate through.

I have a beard and use the Mirage Quattro FFM. I have used a nasal mask and a different FFM. I have never had leakage where the mask is in contact with my beard or mustache. The leaks I have had were either around the bridge of my nose or through my mouth in the case of the nasal mask.

Beard and mustache. Used a Fitlife total face for a while. Now use a F&P Simplus. Leaks arent a problem.

Ive used a nasal. my numbers are way lower consistently with one. But I have times I cant use one because of congestion. Insurance only covers so much so gotta stick with the FFM for another six months.

That is only because your full face mask improves your looks. Dielaughing

Sorry, I resisted that 3 times and then just couldn't any longer.

My beard is so I look grown-up. At 52 if I shave it off I'd be carded all the time... The whole baby-face thing.

Tried a full face mask. It did not work for me. Nasal masks too don't work. I settled on P10 nasal pillows but this varies with everyone, YMMV. This is the most difficult part of CPAP. Good luck and don't give up.
