[Equipment] overnight cover: machine, hose and mask?

overnight cover: machine, hose and mask?
New to CPAP and, thinking... do I need to keep the mask and hose in a bag during the day when not in use. Vacuuming going-on , and dust in general? I'm I being too overly cautious.

Do you cover the matching with the hose attached?
Do you put a bag over the mask?

What is the way (if any ) you cover your machine and or mask?

My machine sits on top of a bedside stand. I don't cover it with anything when not in use. My mask hangs on a wall not too far from the bedside stand. The hose is on a hose hanger / holder atop our bed's headboard. It's out in the open like the mask, all the time.

No need to go to a whole lot of trouble covering everything up.  Bigwink

Thank you for your comments.

Here in NYC, we have a lot of dust (everywhere) even with frequent dusting and vacuuming a lot of dust goes airborne.
Since CPAP is pumping air directly into the lungs (looking at the top of my dresser and such) there is a bit of dust.

I must say that I don't have Amathophobia, however, I thought it would be wise to check with others who have CPAP experience.

Wishing you restful nights and easy breaths!

You might consider the purchase of a room air purifier. There are tons of them on the market with varying capabilities.

I have a Rabbit Air Purifier running 24/7 in each room.

Given that CPAP is pulling in air directly to our lungs, it piques my attention.

I am not alarmed, just leaning towards "what are others doing"

Thank you again for your  comments

The air is the same air you are breathing with or without a cpap.  No difference if it is coming with or without a mask and machine.  The machine has a filter that I change each month so in reality it has less dust than the air you normally breath without a cpap.

I use a cheap nylon bag from amazon and shove the mask and hose in it, just to keep it tidy and stop it falling on the floor and getting stood on. In the UK we call them PE bags, think you might call them a gym sack or something.

My stuff is always out in the open. I don't worry about it one bit.
