F&P Evora Full - Feedback Requested

F&P Evora Full - Feedback Requested
                                I have been on CPAP for 6 plus years.  I have used nasal cushions, nasal masks and recently a P10.  My jaw drops when I sleep so I have no choice but to use a chin strap.  Despite using a strap (Knights Bridge), I still get mouth leaks and a little dry mouth in the morning.  I have tried full face masks but always end up with leaks at the bottom corners due to jaw drop.  I saw a video by a guy "LankyLefty" who said that he recommends using a chin strap with a full face mask for those who have this problem.  I had an Evora Full sitting around and decided to give that a whirl last night with my Knights Bridge Chin Strap.  I put the mask on first then the chin strap.  (I have tried the Airtouch F20 and F&P Vitera but end up with sores on the bridge of my nose so figured the Evora Full would be a better mask when I bought it a year ago. I also had this problem with the N20 and Eson2) I fit the mask ensuring that it was tight enough around my mouth area to avoid leaks when my mouth opens or head turns to the side while I am on my back.  I woke a little early 4:30 and fell back to sleep for another 90 minutes or so.  I actually woke up refreshed and was not jarred awake constantly by large leaks at the corners of my mouth during the night, as I had been in the past.  Also no dry mouth.   I have attached some photos of my Oscar data since I was a little miffed at the leak rate. Is there an acceptable leak rate?  Maybe I am focusing too much on that stat Thoughts appreciated.
PS - I do have a beard kept at a short-medium length.

RE: F&P Evora Full - Feedback Requested
I hope someone with more skill than I responds. I have very little knowledge of OSCAR

I do have
* F&P Evora Full (first full face mask I've bought; I have claustrophobia. I've posted too often here about issues tryng to make it work.)
* Knightsbridge dual band cap (I have 3. Mixed feelings.)

* ResMed N20 (tried N30i--nope; tried P30--nope.) Right now I'm using my old nasal mask. N20 (both medium and large sizes)
* tape on my lips
* soft cervical collar.

Way back my KB dual band was leak free. I bragged, but shouldn't have. I had bought 2 of them to save shipping costs. Labelled the same size, one was larger than the other. I bought a third one later (in desparation.) It's cheaper made and wearing instructions had changed. And it costs more. It was extremely expensive in Canada.

I've tried my KB2band over my mask headgear and with the headgear over the cap. I haven't tried it with tape on my lips.

Issue I have is if I get up for a washroom break by the time I get my mask/headgear on I can't sleep.

If I have a successful leak free night almost without fail the next few nights i get huge leaks and give up. I haven't figured out what the fatal flaw is with the F&P Evora Full. full face mask. I really want to; it's really well made. I want it to work.

Could it be I have the wrong size? I didn't know they have a large headgear when I bought mine. I'm not prepard to buy another one to find out.

I have tried the Evora full with a KB chin strap as well and still get leaks at the lower corners between my chin and lower lip. I gave up on it and went back to the P10 with tape. No leaks. My only problem now is I can’t get more than 5.5 to 6 hours of sleep every night.

Going back to the Evora, I’m using the large size pillow, but do not get a satisfactory seal, and yes I watched Jason’s video.

Frustrating.

I have found that I have to keep the Evora FFM a little tighter, especially around the mouth area for it not to leak even with the KB chin strap. I hardly tighten the mask at the top.  It is tighter than what I would like around the bottom of my mouth.  I prefer a nasal pillow mask and I have tried hostage tape and cover roll non woven surgical tape and neither one sticks.  I do have a short beard but I think that moisture from my mouth causes them to come loose.  I just received this product in the mail and am going to give it a shot tonight. (https://getpapmd.com/?selling_plan=43808...9434619186) Supposedly it is humidity resistant but we shall see. I would prefer to wear my F&P Brevida over any FFM but leaks are the issue.

What kind of tape are you using?  How do you get it to stick?

Have you considered a soft cervical collar? It'll help keep your jaw from dropping.

I use the B&N Cover Roll tape.  Works great when shaved, but on day 3 of stuble it looses it's stickiness.  Not really a huge problem, just have to stay shaved...but sometimes just like a little shadow.

Yep...did this a few years ago, really to stop the windpipe kinking and reduce event clusters.

The best for me is the KB cap.

I'm glad you tried it.

I have a F&P Evora Full. Some days are good. More are bad. I was trying to simplify my life.

I use a ResMed N20 with tape and a cervical collar. I wake up a lot.

I have an appointment with a new DME supplier in two days. I hope that new eyes will help my treatment.

Sleep-well

I've worn out one cervical collar; started another.

Here's what frustrates me.

Wearing all this gear gives me fits.  If I need to rush to my washroom I can disconnect. But mask & cervical collar & tape scares my dog. He bit me one night...

And when I take off all the gear and finally get it all back on I'm wide awake for the rest of the night.

I tried a P30i and it didn't work.
I tried an N30i; didn't work.  First time I used it I had just taken off the F&P Evora Full and it was the middle of the night. I forgot to adjust the N30i.  AHI was 43!

Where do you find one of these collars? Are they like a travel neck pillow?  If so those things are hot.
