False CA's?

False CA's?

Hello my bipap machine is labeled an Aircurve 10 so not sure why my Oscar graph indicates it is an Airsense 11.  Attached is my last nights graph.  I had a home test last December which indicated 28 events per hour.  I have been on cpap and was switched to a bipap several months ago.  My events have come down to around 10 per hour but I cannot seem to get below that number consistently.  I also have insomnia which wearng a mask does not help and tend to get only 4-5 hours sleep per night and wake frequently.  Of these events most (about 2/3) are shown as CA's and the rest OA's. I am a bit puzzled by the high CA's as I do not have a history of heart or lung disease.  I have noticed my pulse oximeter readings during the day tend to hover between 90-95 which is somewhat low and at night sometimes get to 85 or so.  I have read that a lot of CA's may actually be false readings that occur after an OA so thought I would submit one of my charts to see if anyone would like to comment if this may be the case.  I am getting extremely frustrated with the whole cpap/bipap ordeal and am beginning to wonder if the cure is worse than the malady.  My sleep therapists seem to be pretty ineffective and everything seems to be trial and error.  Thanks for any thoughts.

RE: False CA's?
Did your sleep study show a lot of CAs?  If so it would be helpful if you post a redacted copy of the study.

Also, your Oscar graph needs to show everything on the left column except the pie chart and calendar.  As it is, there is much information missing.

If it is an aircurve 10 you have a better machine than the 11. One of the settings is the trigger and you can set it to very high and it should help you with centrals. The setting is not available on the 11.

When posting a chart, please be sure the Daily Details are shown rather than Bookmarks. If you have an Aircurve 10, what are you current settings? As Staceyburke suggested, the trigger sensitivity can be set to high or very-high, and that normally helps with CA events. I'm undecided if your clusters of apnea are actually CA or positional.
