[Treatment] Clear airway events or false positive?

Clear airway events or false positive?
After several nights of adjusting settings with the help of OSCAR, I finally got an AHI of 3.1. The main events I'm seeing now are clear airway.

Looking at the flow rate, I'm guessing I've shifted position and stopped breathing for several seconds which got flagged as CA. Is this the correct interpretation? Should events like these be ignored?

@knobwasher, Yes, that would be my interpretation too. A true CA will have a smooth entry with gradually diminishing amplitude. All that noise prior is usually disturbance related, like rolling over and holding breath while doing so like you suspect. I generally go through all of my CA events and confirm or ignore them, then re-calculate AHI for my own records to get a better idea of treatment efficacy.

I've had a similar experience.

FWIW I use a Trail Camera on a tripod.  It's motion-activated and works in complete darkness.  I can go through my OSCAR results and look at the photo's/Video's with time-stamps that match reported events, and find - now that I seem to have my pressure settings fairly well dialed-in - that 75% or more of my recorded events occur when I occasionally lay on my back, or I am actually rolling over etc..

Quite reassuring, as my results vary quite a bit from night to night, and now I can see why.
