RE: Feedback on OSCAR data
Here's some updated data. I tried climateline tubing the past few days and did not like it. It felt too stuffy, even turned down low. I'm going back to the slimine tubing tonight.
Any adjustments needed?

Looks like you're still having positional issues unfortunately - have you tried wearing it loose / tight? Is your pillow pretty flat? Essentially what you're trying to avoid is sleeping on your back and tucking your chin and closing off your airway.

RE: Feedback on OSCAR data
Thanks! I have a pretty flat pillow. I generally wear the collar fairly loose (but tight enough to make sure I can't really put my neck down to my chest) simply because it makes me sleep extremely hot. It's just a neck brace I picked up at cvs. Is there a better option that is maybe vented or would allow my neck to get some airflow?

Currently using the soft cervical from Walgreens with more success but still seeing some positional apneas as well. Are you wearing an sp02 monitor by chance? Some of the events that show up as obstructive for me result in no sp02 change but could be causing an arousal so it would be interesting to know in your case. |
