F&P makes a stand-alone heated humidifier that can be connected to any PAP, just google "F&P HC150 heated humidifier" or search for it in the humidifier pages of the suppliers in the supplier list. Shop around, prices and accessories vary. If you want to use a heated hose with the F&P HC150 you can also check out the Hybernite heated hose - prices vary from supplier to supplier on this too.

Most humidifiers are matched to the PAP and won't work on other makes.

Buy some diphenhydramine (normal stuff in allergy meds) at Costco. Jar of 250 for ten bucks. Take two at bedtime. Set your machine at about a 10. My experience with a stuffy nose is that this will do the trick and the air blowing thru your nose will actually dry out the snot! Sorry, but it does!
It can actually clear up the sinuses at night, it did for me. |
