I had the pulse oximeter on and attached for an additional hour after turning off my PAP device because I was trying to figure out how to upload the data.
My data is attached. Does anything stand out or seem out of the ordinary?

First Night with Pulse Oximeter plus CPAP
I've been using a CPAP for over a month, but this is the first night I've used my PAP device(PR System One 560p) and pulse oximeter (CMS50D+) at the same time.
I had the pulse oximeter on and attached for an additional hour after turning off my PAP device because I was trying to figure out how to upload the data. My data is attached. Does anything stand out or seem out of the ordinary?

RE: First Night with Pulse Oximeter plus CPAP
My SpO2 was dangerously low during the sleep study (in the 50%'s). I just ordered this same unit from Amazon to use just for my own peace of mind. I'll keep an eye on your progress.

RE: First Night with Pulse Oximeter plus CPAP
looks good. I am supposing that the extra hour on oximeter was all while you were awake. That is what I would expect, as the pulse rate went up and stayed up. Other pulse increases usually come when you are awakened, but potentially when you were in REM sleep, which in many ways mimics awakeness. These same areas are where your respiration rate increased, and the flow rate per breath went down some, also suggestive of REM sleep.

Yes, that extra hour on the oximeter was spent wide awake and searching the internet about how to upload my data from the oximeter. I do remember having a very long very bad dream so REM sleep makes sense. |
