Thank you so much guys.  Night number 2 was 3.3. I haven’t pulled the data yet but I am excited about that.  Should I leave the settings alone for awhile and see what happens?

Absolutely. For two reason.

1. You're new and still adapting to the therapy after who knows how many years of suffering in your sleep.

2. You almost always need lots of data to draw conclusions. You don't have enough data yet.

Looks a lot better. Technically, you're effectively treated with an AHI below 5. But AHI isn't everything. How do you feel? You still have a lot of flow restriction. Are you going to try the soft cervical collar? That may help. you may see some improvement with a minimum pressure of 10 or 11 but I think you should try the cervical collar first.

Let me add that I agree with Sleepster. When I said you may benefit from a higher minimum pressure I should have added that we need more data first. I do still think you should try the cervical collar.

I have a full beard... like down to my chest full beard, and use the air touch f20.  I had to wear it a little tighter than I thought I should but it did lower the leak rate a bunch. I should also mention.  Night one was in a recliner night 2 and 3 were in my bed. 

I’ll post more results later today but last night was 3.1. However I did go without my mask for a little over an hour.  I hooked it to get up and go get a drink and fell asleep before I got up! 

I will look in to either a wedge pillow or cervical collar soon.  I have always slept with 3 pillows since I was a child.  I’m still getting used to sleeping with one or two and with my head in a different position. I think that will solve a lot of positional issues. 

So far the Mrs hasn’t complained about snoring (which was the reason this journey started) and my score has been pretty decent.... and I don’t feel like I’m waking up as much during the night.  So I’m happy!

Have you seen Bonjour's avatar? A full beard is not necessarily a problem. It appears you're doing well. check out the OTC collar on Amazon. It comes in 3 different heights as well as a variety of neck sizes,

I used to have a full beard and had very few leaks with my airfit F20. Bonjour used an Amara view with a very full beard.  Check out his avatar.

I have trouble with face stubble, the longer it grows the more issues I have with air diffusing through the whiskers. This is simply a fact with me. I shave and the mask seals better. I haven't had a full beard, but would imagine it would be worse. I do use a more sensitive to leak machine though and a large pressure difference. Perhaps that makes it more noticable.
