RE: FlashPAP - FlashAir WiFi SD card utility
Yeah... thats getting over my head. I will just plug it in the back like you recommend. May even by an internal bay for my tower and install.
Thanks.

RE: FlashPAP - FlashAir WiFi SD card utility
Time for another silly question from me....
Got the FlashAir installed yesterday as well as FlashPAP. I am able to locate the card and retrieve the data, or at least assume so. So this morning I turned off the machine and ran to my computer. Fired up FlashPAP, ported over to SleepyHead...WUT???? Nothing there for the 27th. I left for work very disappointed and tried to figure it out as I sat in 1.5 hours of traffic. Is there something I missed? Does it take a time interval to write to the FlashAir SD card in the unit (thought it would be continuous)? When I got to work checked the ResMed MyAir website and it has my data showing for last night. Now I am confused.... Any ideas from the little information I have provided? I am sure the card was unlocked when I placed it in the machine. Hindsight I should have done a test run last night for 10-15 minutes to build a new event and see. Guess I will have to wait 10 hours before I get my hands on it at home to investigate.

RE: FlashPAP - FlashAir WiFi SD card utility
I've never tried to read an SD card immediately after punching my machine off, but I'd think it'd take a few minutes to finalize the files. I looked at the file dates and times for each night on the SD card, and it appears to initiate the files about 2 hours after I begin use, but gives no clue when it finishes writing after switch off. I've never had it not write, so I'll expect your data will be there.
When you say "turned off," you mean just punch the button on top to stop the air flow, right (ie - you don't fully power down)?

RE: FlashPAP - FlashAir WiFi SD card utility
The ResMed Autosense 10 gives a message on he screen if the card is locked which you probably would have seen. At least mine, which I purchased in January does.

Ok, good. But, given that the files on my SD don't appear to begin writing until a couple hours into the cycle, I'm going to bet it'll be some time after the end to finalize. Take your shower first, then look at the data.

RE: FlashPAP - FlashAir WiFi SD card utility
Just out of curiosity, did you tell SleepyHead to import the files after FlashPAP imported them to your computer? I have always been able to import and read my data on my computer as soon as the flash screen indicating write activity goes away.

RE: FlashPAP - FlashAir WiFi SD card utility
So I launched FlashPAP, copied files to SD card at comp and launched SleepyHead from within FlashPAP. No data for last night. I did notice FlashPAP said 20170227 was creating an empty folder... WUT??? Tried again only selecting that date, same thing. The crazy thing is, after trying this, I did a data import from SleepyHead and the data was there for 20170227....WUT?? Now I am really confused. How did that happen? At the end of the day, the data did transfer but not sure why transferring and launching from FlashPAP out wasn't there?
Thoughts. And thanks for the continued help.

RE: FlashPAP - FlashAir WiFi SD card utility
OK, Let me see if I understand. You created a directory on your computer to hold the data. You started FlashPAP and selected the 3 dot button to the right of the Destination Folder box, navigated to the storage directory, and selected it. Note: You may have to hit Save twice. Now the Destination Folder box shows your directory to store the data to.
Next, You select the Scan FlashAir SD card. It finds your card and highlights the dates that are not contained in your PC's directory. You then select the button labeled Copy xPAP data for the selected dates. FlashPAP does its thing - showing a little clock like icon indicating the percent of download. Finally, You select the button labeled Exit and run Sleep Tracking Software (Assuming that you showed it where this program is). Have I missed anything?

RE: FlashPAP - FlashAir WiFi SD card utility
Crimson, that is pretty much how it went although I am still using an SD card at this point, so pointed FlashPAP to G:
I performed the last step you mention below (Exit and run Sleep Tracking Software), SH launches, enter password, and no data for the 27th. I go through the steps again, this time FlashPAP mentions the empty folder for the 27th. Launch SH again, same results. I then exit FlashPAP and launch SH independently and use the import function from G:. And there it is. |
