We really could use the advice and input from a genuine HIPAA compliance attorney or a HIPAA compliance officer to help guide us with regard to an upcoming effort Apnea Board is working on regarding personal data recorded via a CPAP machine - specifically as it relates to HIPAA.
We're not asking for any official legal council. Rather, we're interested simply in asking you a few questions regarding how HIPAA laws might affect a particular aspect of our upcoming effort. If there's someone out there who might be able to privately offer some basic advice, please send a PM (Personal Message) to SuperSleeper here on Apnea Board. In that PM, please let us know your credentials and background. If you're experienced with the laws regarding HIPAA, we'd like to include you in a private forum here on Apnea Board in order to discuss the specific situation and effort that we intend to launch soon, and your opinions on how HIPAA might affect that effort.
No further information will be given here publicly. Only qualified and experienced HIPAA lawyers or compliance officers should respond.
Thanks.
