Gaps in data

Gaps in data
I am using a ResMed S9 which was displaying a pressure sensor error message, and also there were gaps during each night on SH data, so it was sent off for repair.  The power pack was replaced and all then said to be OK.   SH data still has gaps (30-60 mins at a time).  Could this be a problem with the SD card?  I am not sure whether my version of SH is the most recent- how would I update that and not lose my previous data?

RE: Gaps in data
Hi,
I reported a similar problem with my Dreamstation several months ago.  Here's the link.

It's happened a couple of times since but only lasts a few minutes.  Never for along as you report.  I've been ignoring it and no idea what it could be but I'm going to guess a sleepyhead bug since it's happened to you on a Resmed machine.

Thanks for your reply.  does seem a similar problem but the gaps are larger.  Will follow it up.

RE: Gaps in data
You could download ResScan from the forum private files area, and compare. This would confirm or refute a Sleepyhead error.

RE: Gaps in data
Looking into this I think it is a SH bug.  SH records time used consistently one or two hours less per night than S9 shows so it just looks on the SH graphs as it the machine not being used.  There are also discrepancies with the AHI- they are close but not the same but the difference is not consistent or even in the same direction.  My consultant has encouraged me to look at the S9 data and not worry about the SH stuff.

RE: Gaps in data
gwenc,
Try another SD card. If it were a software bug then other S9 users would have experienced by now.
