USB-C PD to 24V adapter

USB-C PD to 24V adapter
Any success stories here using such a cable?   I've been researching airline friendly power banks and the 12V cigarette lighter appears to be going extinct.   I've been using a 12V cigarette lighter to 24V to power my cpap.

I don't believe a USB-C can carry or provide the required amperage to power a CPAP.

The OP is running a AC10-ASV. That model uses a 24-volt / 90 watt power supply.

You are correct! They do have them, but it has a 1-star rating. The description states that it blinks and does not power up an AS10.

PD 3.1 which uses the same USB-C and comes in several flavors.   I'm talking about the 60 or 100 watt.    I use the same to run my mac book, Google Pixel phone, etc.

Ironically (for me) PD won't power older phones despite it being a USB-C and needs the older configuration which is limited to 2-3 amps so 10-15 watts.   I suspect this is what you're talking about.

FWIW, I ordered one of these which will give me a 12V cigarette lighter from a PD socket. I'll experiment and report back if interested.

Seems possible and an excellent solution, but the market hasn't caught up. I may need to break out my soldering iron and cobble something together.
